Journals

The Journals tab allows you to view all the Journals associated with the selected Employee's profile. You can also add new Journal entries.

Adding a New Journal
To add new 'Journal', click on the Green plus symbol.

  1. Title
    Enter a descriptive title for the Journal.
    Note: This is a required field.

  2. Type
    Choose a Journal Type from the lookup tool.
    Note: This is a required field.

  3. Private
    Journal viewing will be set to private if enabled, and public if disabled.

  4. Author
    Displays the first and last name of the Author of the Journal (the Author is the person creating the Journal).

  5. Description
    Enter a detailed Description of the Journal.
    Note: This is a required field.

  6. Attachments
    If you would like to add an Attachment, click on the Green plus symbol and the File Explorer will open.

  7. Save
    Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on the 'Save' icon.

Note: To modify access to this section, utilize Group Security Maintenance. This is controlled by the Profiles - Journals securable.
