Shift Time Template
The Shift Time Template Maintenance is where you build out the time frames that Employees work.
Shift Time Template Overview
The 'Shift Time Template' is used to define standard work times (I.e. 8 am to 5 pm or 10 am to 4 pm.), or if the Employees work part-time. While Shift and Shift Time Templates might have similar names they serve very different functions. Shift Time Templates are the building blocks you use to build out a schedule freeform in the scheduling module, and they also get assigned within Shifts. Shifts are then assigned to Employees and allow you to generate weekly schedules at the touch of a button for multiple Employees.
Note: If an Employee does not have a Shift assigned to them, you can use the Shift Time Templates for on the fly scheduling.
