Goal Type

The Goal Type Maintenance allows you to create the Goal Types that will be available within your system. The Goal Type is a way of categorizing a Goal.
Note: There is no limit to how many Goal Types can be created.

Goal Type List
Upon navigation into the 'Goal Type Maintenance', you will see a list of all configured Goal Types. You’re also able to create new types of Goals and enable them to either be for personal Goals or make these Goal Types available for multiple Users as part of a Team Goal. Managers and Employees alike can define individual Employee Goals of a professional or personal nature for a holistic personal development plan. Future Goals and objectives can be set to appear on the next Appraisal for easy assessment and follow up.

  1. New
    To create a new 'Goal Type' click on the 'New' icon.

    1. Description
      Enter the name of the Goal Type.

    2. For Team Goals
      If selected this type will only show up when creating a Team Goal.

  2. Save
    Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on 'Save'.
