Export General Ledger Mapping

The Export General Ledger Mapping Maintenance allows you to define the data that will be pushed out to your General Ledger when exporting to an external system.
Note: The Export General Ledger Mapping feature only supports exports to the General Ledger of Sage 300, Sage HRMS, and Acumatica systems, all other external systems are not yet supported by this feature.

  1. New
    To create a new 'Export General Ledger Mapping', click on the 'New' icon.
    Note: All fields with a Red asterisk are required fields.

    1. Export Interface
      Select the appropriate Sage Export Interface from the lookup tool provided.
      Note: The Export Interface options provided in the lookup tool can be setup in the Export Interface Maintenance by your LightWork team during implementation.

    2. Company
      Select the appropriate 'Company' from the lookup tool provided.

    3. Segment Number
      Enter the General Ledger 'Segment Number' here.

    4. Source Segment
      Enter the General Ledger 'Source Segment' here.

    5. Segment Start
      Enter the start of the 'Source Segment' here.

    6. Segment Length
      Enter the length of the 'Source Segment' here.

    7. GL Structure Code
      Enter the General Ledger 'Structure Code' here.

    8. Override Source
      This fields allows for configuration of overriding General Ledger segments by Organization Levels.

    9. Active
      If enabled, this will make the 'Export General Ledger Mapping' active. Disabling the checkbox will deactivate the Export General Ledger Mapping and will retain the information in LightWork if you would like to reactivate it again at a later time.

  2. Save
    Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on 'Save'.
